"Someone asks what it is like to dive, and I tell them its like going to a different world. I think it would be the same feeling as going to outer space. You are floating in water like being in a space suit. The scenery is totally different and every thing seems to be floating in slow motion around you."

Take the plunge with us!

Beginners are more than welcome

There was a time that all of us were non-divers. We all had to learn how to explore the exciting underwater world safely. Scuba diving is open to almost anyone aged 10 years or older. There are a few medical conditions that may prevent a person from diving. Please review the PADI Medical Form. If you answer "Yes" to any of the conditions on the form then please consult a doctor to confirm if you can still dive safely.

Please note that being able to swim and being comfortable in the water is a prerequisite to being able to dive.

For those wanting a simple introduction to diving without commiting to a complete course there is the Discover Scuba Diving experience. If you already know that you want to get a license to dive that is recognized world wide then you can sign up for the PADI Open Water course.

Open Water Diver

  • Minimum age: 10 years old.
  • Duration: 3 to 4 Days.
  • Maximum Depth: 60 feet or 18 meters
This is the most popular scuba course in the world. It has introduced millions of people to the adventures and exploration of the underwater world. The Open Water course has 3 main sections; diving theory, confined water where you learn all the skills required and 4 open water dives in the ocean. You course will be directed by an experienced, qualified PADI professional instructor.

There are 2 options when it comes to completing the theoretical portion of the course. You can complete the theory in our classroom with your instructor, or you can complete all the theory before arrival through PADI eLearning. Many people opt for eLearning, whilst it has a slightly higher cost to the student it does mean that you do not spend your valuable vacation time studying. If you would like more details about either option then you can send us an enquiry here. If you would like to sign up for eLearning this link to the PADI website.

The course is fun and educational, and there is a reason more people learn to dive with the PADI Open Water course than with any other agency.
